We will send you an order for labs and you will return in 1-2 weeks post lab results for your Treatment Initiation appointment.

Minimally invasive procedure. After numbing and infusion of local anesthesia, the PDO threads are inserted via sharp or blunt tip needles (called cannulas) into different layers of the skin. The presence of these sutures in your skin triggers cells in your body called fibroblasts to produce more collagen. Collagen is the protein that gives your skin its structure and elasticity. Loss of collagen is one of the main causes of aging skin.

PCDC, aka phosphatidylcholine deoxycholic acid, is a fat dissolving treatment that breaks down fat cells in targeted areas. Also called Lipolysis, this form of Mesotherapy involves injecting fat dissolving medication such as (PCDC) injections which are injected locally into the targeted treatment areas. The fat cells absorb the PCDC and become slightly inflamed and then harden. The hardened fat cells break down within a few weeks and are eliminated via the body’s natural processes. Lipodissolve is not FDA approved for fat reduction.

Platelet Rich Plasma, also known as "PRP" is an injection treatment whereby a person’s own blood is used. A fraction of blood (10cc – 30cc- depending on procedure) is drawn up from the individual patient into a syringe. This is a relatively small amount compared to blood donation which can remove 500cc. The blood is spun in a special centrifuge to separate its components (Red Blood Cells, Platelet Rich Plasma, Platelet Poor Plasma and Buffy Coat). The Platelet Rich Plasma and Buffy Coat is first separated. Platelets are exceedingly small cells in your blood that are involved in the clotting and healing process. When PRP is injected into the damaged area it causes a mild inflammation that triggers the healing cascade. As the platelets organize in the treatment area, they release a number of enzymes to promote healing and tissue responses including attracting stem cells and growth factors to repair the damaged area. As a result, new collagen begins to develop. As the collagen matures it begins to shrink causing the tightening and strengthening of the damaged area. The full procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Generally, 3 treatments are advised, however, more may be necessary for some individuals.
